Open Standard
Operators around the world are implementing the JAIN SLEE open standard for intelligent networks. It sets them free from being locked in to proprietary platforms; free from being dependent on vendors road maps and free to develop their own applications. It is also a standard that benefits from a growing community of application developers.
Our ENGINE technology is based on this JAIN SLEE open standard. This standard is also supported by a wide variety of companies including Open Cloud with their Rhino platform and Amdocs with the jNETx system.
This means that, if the application that you need is not already available in the Evolved Intelligence range, you have a number of options:
- You can commission the Evolved Intelligence team to develop a solution for you. This team is skilled in agile development and obviously knows the ENGINE environment well. Applications have been developed and deployed in as little as five weeks
- You can use your own in house development team to develop a solution. If you have an existing in house application that you want to port to ENGINE, the team that developed it will clearly be a good choice
- If there is an existing application from another vendor, it may be possible to port it to the ENGINE platform. Just ask us and we will let you know if it is possible
- You can commission any other certified open standard development company
This means that, if you implement ENGINE, you can break free from “supplier lock in”. If you don’t like a proposal that we make for a new application, then fine, you have other options available.
